1920's Photo-Grained Oak Chest Stripped
A photo-grained (faux) quartersawn oak chest of drawers dating from the 1920's. Generally the original finish must be in excellent condition for collectors of these. This finish had worn through and had a chemical spill on the top (most likely nail polish remover-acetone) and the case was falling apart. The drawers needed attention. Our client wanted to do something different, and this piece is of sentiment.
